NewZealand Shake Out
On the 15th of October it was NZ Shake Out. NZ Shake Out is when everyone in NZ practices the earthquake drill which is Drop Cover Hold. 1st you drop to the ground. 2nd you slide under a table or anything you can fit under. 3rd you hold onto your neck with one hand and hold on to the leg of the table with the other hand. We practice this drill because NZ wants us to be prepared if an earthquake actually hit NewZealand and so everyone knows what to do. Earthquakes are caused when the 2 plates (that hold the world) wobble or move. If everyone in NZ is doing it you do it as well. " Are YOU ready for an earthquake?" By Olivia
